ok guys here are some photos i have taken of the rear drivers side panel .

As you can see from pics 1 and 2 a very poor patch job on bottom of panel inside the black lines i have drawn also coverd in about 20 mill of bondo.

the other prob is the lip on which the chrome trim clips onto is very narrow at this point,reason being the last owner wasnt realy botherd as long as it looked good without it.see photos 2 and 3

so the Q is do i repair this patch to a much higher standard or replace the whole panel ideas please .ps the rest of the panel is sound albeit albeit a little rough on surface

repair or replace, no question do either or both

replace the panel to repair the car
or
repair the panel by replacing it
