I hope not as we wont be there before midday - its four hours from here and we are not leaving until the kangaroos off the roads and the frost is off the windscreen.

Heading towards Minus six here tonight .

At this stage Mike may not be coming. He has had car trouble near Kandos and is currently being looked after by the NRMA. Engine Management problems in a V6 Commodore and/or oil pressure issues it seems.

Nup Didn't make it - the car is dead. VT commodore and its archilles heel. The fairly small oil pick up appears to have blocked causing oil starvation. Warning lights galore but in the middle of nowhere tried to make the next town.

Engine management shut the engine own but damage done. Best guest is that the camshaft seized when the oil supply stopped.

Was looking forward to the weekend away as well.
