Drove to GR's and back. Resisted the temptation to smoke a cop car at the lights (hey it was only a Camry)

What does it cost per year? I'm thinking of putting the van on club plates when finished, to beat the ridiculous greenslip cost for it being a so-called `commercial vehicle'- $900+ p/a. + the rego fee. Even if useage is `private'.

Hey Doc, check out "greenslip compare" you can access from the RTA website. We got our van green slip down to $680 ish cant remember the exact figure, but we do have 3rd party property insurance with AAMI.

Thanks, will do.
My mate Laingy has full comp with NRMA on his van, and the greenslip was over $900.

The crazy thing with our van is its sits under a cover for at least 10months of the year as its only used as a spare. :(

Ouch! Makes me glad that I ended up getting a sedan, I was originally looking at a van!
That reminds me, rego is soon :(

Got to finish my wife's 76 first. But already planning short cuts on that so I can start the van. Like a quick refresh on the 998 instead of finding a 1275 (I'll do that for the van)
Got a mate I'm lining up already for all the welding duties on the van.
