Interesting, but would be quite a project to:
a. Get it over here
b. Get it engineered & registered

Don't like the floor pan in lieu of a ute tray, but the rest is well done.

Not sure of the proper name, but it is a pale yellow and I quite like it.

Yes Rob I was thinking it looks a lot like your MkIII colour.

Ours was a sort of Crystal white, now damask (ish) red with white roof.

Is yours a 65 Babes?

I think Babes' car belonged to Stef****? On this forum. I looked at it at Minishow last year.

Yes had my eye on it a year ago but we didnt find a mutual agreeable price back then. Stefan sent me an email about 2 months ago saying I could have it for the price I wanted. Stefan was great and trailered it from Vic to Adelaide and put it on the train for me.

The email came through the day after I had just bought the 1275LS, I came out to the wife all broken assed and told her the deal. Suprisingly she said I could have it too as she knows how long I had been after one.

Was made to agree that I would buy no more for 3 years, which is fair enough as I bought 3 this year....plus my shed is now full so I have 3 years to fit hoists for extra parking and build another parts shed before I start collecting again. Hopefully I will end up with one of every model, thats my aim anyway.

Oops, sorry for the thread hijack btw!

What does your heater look like?

Is it a silver box with National Radiators sticker? NZ made?

Cheers 8)
