the twins are smaller (each) and you've got the choice of sticking one on either side of the grill area, thus it's directed to the car of issue either way. but yes, if they're to be put together, they'd have a bigger foot print.. then again, I plan on having two of the chunky ones 8)

I've got a cheap pair of Supercheap Auto air horns, mounted under the wing below the headlight bucket, with the compressor on the engine bay side.

They're L O U D

.. and cheap, too. Scares everyone back into their own lane 8)

Question is though, how much do you actually like them?
My father in law and I had a 'discussion' about people using the horn as they drive off, IE: beep beep, huroo' sorta thing. he HATES it... so the next week we went there in my car and I pinned it down in his drive for about 10secs,   was worth the mouthful Just for the reaction!

lol that would have been quite the conversation the next time you were there. My inlaws are good, don't complain at all really and if anything my fiance and i are the loudest in the court with our cars and music etc.

Tho your mini may be reliable you are doing a lot of kms every week so maintenance will be required regularly as with any other car.Its easier to throw cash at the car when it takes you to work tho 8)

I would rather spend money on the brakes than spend money fixing the horn.

I've had mine back on the road for 12 months (rego due next week!) after 15+ years in the garage

sure I've had to pay for some repairs and maintenance, but that was expected with a 44 year old car and I think still has worked out cheaper than buying some new piece of crap 2nd hand (and also paying for upkeep) or fixing up my old Toyota van

I use it as my daily car and after having some things like head gasket, radiator, timing chain fixed, have no fear taking it on its daily excursions.

any excuse to drive it really

yeah horn isn't something that will be done any time soon, the important things will come first. doing some work to it this weekend, finally received all but 1 part for the old girl. looking to getting dirty and getting the last of the rwc items finished :)
