Hi Guys,

I finally bought one of the Abbey/Crossway 1275GT kits so I could do up a model to match my clubby. Ended up being $90 after postage from the UK but with hardly any clubby models about it was worth it. Unfortunately they no longer make the engine details for these so its just the car, but something is better than nothing!

Has anyone else made one of these, any tips or tricks? I've never painted up a die cast model before only plastic ones.
I'll put up some pics once it arrives

Look forward to seeing some pics. I hadn't heard of them but did a google and they look great.

I forget where I heard of them originally, but they do look good. Should go nicely alongside my personalised Scalextric clubby :)

Just arrived now, everything except the tyres are diecast little bits, looks fantastic, I'll stick up some pics later on!

Couple of quick shots, really bummed they don't do the engine detail any more, although they did include the sump/clutch housing so it looks right from below.

All the bits: the white foam lump on the top right is a vac formed plastic for the glass
