So with the new plates that got released in NSW, was anyone able
to grab what they were after for their Mini ?

Website was broken as soon as it went live.

I managed to get through on the phone and reserve what I wanted.

For anyone that didn't know, check out myplates.com.au. They sting you with an 'ordering fee' but the annual fee isn't too bad at $99.

yeah I was thinking about it, but I've just parked mine for a rebuild, gotta be realistic, the fees for the next few years alone would make a nice dent in some brakes :)
looks like someone got 78 MINI anyway
:(

I got 70 VAN.

Red letters on black background.

All double digits with MINI afterwards went instantly.

I did a search for 77-MINI yesterday and it was available. Can't justify the $$$ for plates though.

Dicko.

I Rang up yesterday at 5pm and got 67 MINI.

Apparently a few people enquired about it but nobody actually bought it.

Yeah its been added to the list of new 'normal' formats. There are a couple of other styles but obviously the 11 AAAA format would appeal the most.

70 MINI was gone immediately, tried others and it told me content was Unavailable / Null Content.......so possibly just their site having issues with checking availability on launch.

I'm happy I got mine :)
