That depends on the year

The earlier years, rear seats and front seats are the same deal.

If you're happy with the sling type seats, just get some hi-backs and cut the top off them, or get some proper low backs.

Mini and Moke world do a reproduction lowback seat
Last time I check they were $900+, per lowback - No cushions included

If you want a fancy dickie seat, you will need to look at getting something out of a hi-ace, or similar and retrofitting it.

However, normal sling backs will fit without modification and are cheap

I didnt think ANY moke came with rear seats as standard, they were all retro fitted i thought, this would explain the inability to find them (ie they dont exist) I will have to go check my mini experience magazine, Watto probably mentions it in there somewhere.

yeah Mini and moke world sell a rear bench for about $900 plus post..

and minisport sell some high back in a pair for $495 PP

im aiming to make my moke perminantly topless, so lowbacks would be best.. but then again highbacks are more comfortable..

Highbacks are just lowbacks with a little square headrest.

The frame is essentially the same, and doesn't affect the comfort factor.

They did come with them. Just not standard. You had to pay the dealer extra to fit them.
That is why they all come with rear seat mounts and rear seat belt mounts standard.

The factory also sold hardtops too.

Hi

Our rear bench seat we've made in house for 25 plus years are $765 plus gst.

Our Australian made high back seats in the same design & material spec as the late factory seats are $695 plus GST.

They are an exellent seat compared to the cheap imports available off ebay etc.
And the pricing re being manufactured here in Sydney ( not O/S or in someone's backyard is very competitive)

The low back seats are no longer made due to the cusions being too expensive to make & the high back being more popular-they were never
$900 plus by the way either.

Thanks
Andrew.

well there you go I learnt something, I always wondered how people got them registered as 4-seaters without too much troubles.

I knew they sold those big white fibreglass hardtops :)

Thanks for filling me in
