I do have a few second hand 850 grilles and One new old stock 850 grille
I hasten to add that the new old stock one does have some surface rust appearing in the slats however I would think that this would be a good one to re chrome

John, who would you recommend (in Sydney) to re-chrome an 850 grille, and any idea of cost (for a grille in this condition)?

Blu Chrome do a very good Job and they use the levelling type copper solution
this fills in a lot of the pits that you cannot polish out, as to price i do not know
it is expensive because in my opinion the EPA is trying to close all plating shops
and so far a lot have closed,
I must add that Blu Chrome is run by relatives of mine,
however that is not the reason I recommend them, They are very Good at what
They Do

Off topic slightly? I have shares in Blu Chrome due to the amount of parts they have plated and chromed for me over the past 2 years. Hopefully they are not suffering withdrawl as I havent dropped off a box of rusty parts for a few months

The sale is on again this saturday, and there are still some excellent bargains to be had
both on second hand parts and some Over stocked new parts, There are a few 1275 blocks left and a few front and rear subframes
We Will be moving to a smaller unit in The same street Graham hill road, within the next six weeks, because the new building is smaller than the one we are in It will be impossible to carry huge stocks of some second hand parts
So if you can pop out and see us and grab some bargins

Hey John....

Do you have a standard Mini diff available today (Sunday)?

Mine went bang a few hours ago....

Currently stuck in Sydney (Bass Hill).

Perhaps if someone is going to your shop and coming back this way we might be able to organise a delivery.

Cheers,
Watto.
