Has anyone had experience with constructing seats? I have been surfing youtube to no avail.

What I am looking for is how to make a custom seat (foam insert) using a standard mini seat frame (then obviously retrim). All I am aiming to do is add a little molding to the seat and back to be more conforming rather than just flat.

When I had my high back Clubman seats re trimmed the trimmer used denser/harder foam on the edges of the back and base which keeps the seat looking fairly standard but when you sit in them you sink into the softer/standard foam in the middles of the seat and the harder foam up the edges acts like a bucket seat and works very well.

That is the effect we are after, not sure if we want to keep the original look though. That would be for the boss to decide :)
