I just got back from 3 weeks working in WA the other day. Went into the shed today to dust off Oscar only to find that the wife had accidentally locked her cat in overnight with him at some stage.

I found cat prints all over him and then spotted youngest's speargun lying on the floor next to him - oh no! Sure enough the gun's been sent flying by that useless bloody feline and the spear's gouged a 2" scratch down to the metal on the right-hand rear quarter!!

NOT HAPPY JAN

And the wife abuses me every time I chase that f@#ken cat out of the sheds.................

Damn that sucks , perhaps strap the cat to a polishing machine to buff out the scratch , i guess it could have been worse you could have had the spear sticking through the panel.

1: I've got cats, love 'em.
2: It could have been a lot worse, with it somehow finding it's way in and taking to the interior.
3: That's one reason why I, like yourself, have cat free zones.
4: I love the idea of using the little sh*t as a buffing medium, pay back!
5:Keep some spray bottles around, they'll soon learn.

Hope the repair isn't too much of a headache for you.

I'ld use the cat as a wheel chock the next time I had a my mini jacked up in the air for maintenance!

I used to live in place where the next doors cat thought it was a good idea to use my car as a step ladder to get over the fence easier....left permanent paw prints in the bonnet that are still there to this day....lets just say it wasn't around much longer after that!

Or store the spear gun in a safer location, and put the spear in a separate cabinet. Just sayin'.

Why was the spear gun accessable and loaded?

I cat proofed my garage as the little bugger we own and a few from round here were using it as a kitty litter pan

Such a shame the cat didn't aim the spear gun better & shoot
itself.

I'd say run over the bloody thing, but that would make a mess.

No the gun's not loaded. Why is it there along with heaps of other stuff owned by 3 sons who no longer live at home?? Don't ask - it's a big sore point with me..........

Haha might have another use for her rodney the paint on pickles is realllllllllllllllllllllllly hard to get off , perhaps she could use her claws to get all the bloody spray putty off.

We went the paint stripper way today ..... not too bad when its just paint add in the spray putty and the wire wheel comes out to play .

If your spear gun has fell over it could be damaged. You should test it to make sure it's working correctly................that's where cat comes in handy.
