yep,,, help tune your mini over the phone or via email

why do i do it?

how long does it take? (how long is a piece of string)

i do it for people all over the world & have been for about 15 years now

tell me why i do it please?

most people are very appreciative & that`s all nice & i feel good all over,,, but i`d much rather be racing my buggy or surfing or rooting :-) (Not necessarily in that order either) ;-)

Damn it it drains me with how long it takes & how hard it is to get through to people that the jet isn`t the needle & the "needle & seat" isn`t the mixture needle & the choke isn`t the butterfly & the jet goes down to richen & the dizzy turns anti-clockwise the leads are meant to go one this way not that way & you need a stronger dash-pot spring & what`s a dash-pot & & & & then the damn thing has a headgasket blown & on & on & on it goes

i think i`m done with all that hey

I looked inside the distributor and didn't find that needle you were talking about. I found a spring but...it came out after a while. I lost it.

As one of the mechanically inept mini owners I really appreciate all your help Matt.

There must be a BIG dose of good Karma coming your way, very bluddy soon I hope.

Cheers

You will keep doing it Matt because You are a Good bloke, and good blokes are helpfull to others
There is another good Guy I know on this forum that would be able to complete a lot of customers jobs a lot sooner, If he did not spend so much time helping people on the phone, And I am not saying He should not!
