I wasnt asking for bad reason i was asked from a mini friend about his 850, and I said there is a register somewhere, and funny enough i have two cars ive never put on there, and not worried to have missed out was only helping out
The Cooper Sport 500 register I set out in 2002 was to find 500 cars, so far to date its growing well, had to build a fake if its on record somewhere, and records kept up to date, and funny enough its public too, not the whole chassis number the car number ie 250, so if we could see car number and colour, years etc would be good,
Im sorry but if watto and sports are with holding this info there not in it for the whole team, share some of it like i suggested would be good to see how many survive, just show number of car dont need a chassis online, if your more open more will join in, nothing to hide, at the moment,
But to hoard info, is like hording cars and parts, ''one day i will write a book and publish it'' is like saying ''one day im going to restore that mk1 cooper s thats rotting in paddock'', guess what you will be dead before either of these happen and no one knows poo poo about the history
Backing off my by high horse and going back in cupboard

Unfortunately some are holding onto it for a commercial purpose, which is not the basis on which people contributed.
