To fit either of those seats , any of those rails will work.
The only difference is that 2 of those seat rails look like they have a mechanism to lock them in the normal position until you want to tilt them. The other will tilt freely.

Hope this helps :D

Thanks. Do I need to modify the floor such as drilling into the floor or they (i.e. the frames) will go into the normal seat pivot bracket?

I'd suggest the second or third frames you've shown there. The first one locks into the U bars on a rover floor. I think I have some of them spare if you want them for locking.

The seat brackets bolt in without the need to modify your floor, you could bolt it down
at the back but rear access disappears.

I have the non-locking Cobra genuine subframe, Drivers side with older style lever and passenger side with the flat bar (as per second item).

I'd be wary about those aftermarket subframes, the fit is very tight and specific for a mini, particularly round nose, just saying. Wouldn't want to order them in and realise they don't fit.

One thing I did to both subframes is to cut the last hole off the front mounting bracket and cut about 2 inches off the back support beams to lower the seat by several inches. Otherwise it feels like you're sitting on stilts...

If you are umming and arring over the cobra seats, let me say that they are by far the best upgrade I did to my mini in recent years. Very very comfy and very good looking.

What model car are you thinking of putting them in??

because if your car does not have the locking mechanism rail on the floor, I wouldnt bother putting them in.

I did the same with mine - cut an inch or two off the front mounts and outright cut the posts off at the back. I then welded on one long piece of 50 x 25 RHS.
This way the weight of the seat and driver is spread more evenly into the floor - not that the posts would punch through, but they can deform the floor locally.

Interesting... I might have to check my floors!

That frame is one I made up out of SHS tube to suit my Cobra Trophy race seat. It was all gas brazed with nickel bronze rod.
No, it wasn't engineered, or adjustable- but since only I drove it there was no problem.
It passed annual pink slip inspections, no problem.

I sold it and the seat when I fitted 2 Cobra Classics, 2 years ago.

They are vinyl. With Cobra Mini frames. I bought them from Brickworx, they came out of a Japanese Rover Mini.

Vinyl is hot sticky and sweaty, but easier to wipe clean.

Nylon doesn't stick to you, but easy to stain.

I'll be going with nylon seats in my car, i've done enough sweaty back summers
