Saw a green moke on the road between Richmond and Windsor, um "Having a breather". It was that exhausted that it needed to be carried home by a friendly tow truck..

Oh, Iwannamini and 68matic what time did the truck arrive?

yeh seems like the whole Mini town heard of this
first calls to steve and mikey and dave and Doc for hints and tips over the phone,
then djhaddo drop by with their mini,
Kev goes over to Antons place,
call Nuc_Mini cancelling an appointment,
give Chris a call for fun,
news spreads like fart in a lift.

broke down 1:30
towie came 5pm

Ah what can you do.

At least Hermans still good. one working car is what i try to aim for, dont we all

To answer in short

1. We were in the middle of no where really and needed to get home. When you are in that situation, you call around.
2. Chris no we dont trust your mechanical abilities.
3. Looks like the distributor (condensor) has problems, the starter motor may have an issue and the solenoid may not be playing either
4. NRMA charge you a bl00dy $200 fee to join on the spot AND towing charges over 20km. Windsor to Cabramatta is 50km.. so the tow would cost $100 alone. A bit of sweet talking from me and Trevor was added onto my NRMA policy for not much at all  so all it cost was the tow.
