I have two 62 850's. The first one is I believe a CKD. It has a UK stamped engine .The vin plate is missing, but, was on the right hand side (looking at the car from the front)of the firewall. The two holes to hold the plate are there.Underneath ,where the plate was ,are numbers stamped on the fire wall. This car has had a restoration some time ago.The body from the front to the rear seat is basicly rust free, The boot and parcel tray needs replaced because of rust. I have the origional warranty papers on it...The second 850 is a 62 matching numbers, complete except for the interior.Floor and boot has small rust repairs needed.Needs ,front panel ,two front guards doors and sills.. I purchased the second 850 to use the rear panels for the CKD and had started to strip it,then thought , wait a minute if I do this we will loose a piece if history.I just love these 850's and am now seriously considering restoring them.
