Ss came with braided fuel lines as standard.... I thought we were discussing braided brake lines (which were not standard).

Some years ago I was told (by the local motor registry) that braided brake hoses were not acceptable even though ADR compliant.

I can't find any applicable advice on the current RTA website either. The only help seems to be the advice to ring the vehicle standards people and ask.

If you do get a useful answer I would be interested to hear it.

Cheers, Ian

Hi Ian and Happy New Year mate to you and Gai. :)

I have sent an email citing the possible relevant (internet unavailable) files 7/00 & 17/00 and asking the question for oil, clutch, brake and fuel.

I want to get it in writing before dipping into the kitty. I will post here, possible PM you, and maybe make a fresh posting so that we all are aware of what goes.
