 Post subject: Rear Trailing arms bolt?

as i was dismantling my rear trailing arm i couldnt help but notice the difference in the threads for the shocker bolt,

which one is the right bolt? and are they replaceable ?

i can see that they are moke arms :D the one at the top is the right one, the bottom one is a lot bodge, un-sure on how to replace them though.

The coarse one is a ring-in, looks like somebody has stripped the original thread, and either turned down the diameter or replaced it.

thanks for the link ,

so just get a 4" 3/8 UNF HT bolt and then screw it into the arm itself untill tight, or drill a hole through the arm and use a nylock on the bolt ?

that sounds easy enough..

Not sure that you need to drill the thread out, as I have not done this mod to my Moke (yet).
