It's in apparently good nick, though it does seem odd that the gear knob is so bashed about for a car that has only travelled 25,000 kms?

Good luck to 'em in their quest for a wealthy buyer.

I thought they would've worded it something like moke first came out in 1966, The car we offer today was commissioned in 1981 and built off the original plans.

The trick with selling a car that is way overpriced is to park it between some cars that are even more over priced.

This & the one that sold in the Shannons auction are doing wonders for prices.

I was the highest ebay bidder for an unlicensed almost finished moke with a 998 but still didn't make reserve. He wanted no less than 8k

I've had mine for a couple of years now and not much has changed. If you want one that'll drive $7-9k. If you want one that’s rust free with rego $10k up. Not exactly Cooper money or even Rover money. I do think if you're gona spend over $15k for a shoe box lit on wheels you need your head looked at

While it certainly seems to be in the "high end" of the price range, it does appear a better buy than the one that Shannon's sold for similar money.

I've had mine 31 years now and paid $1,500 for it.

It has changed a bit since then, but it must be worth decent money now.

But there is no way I am ever going to sell it. The kids would kill me for a start!

Going by the front seat condition the 25000 k's looks to be genuine.

Maybe it has been recovered with NOS seat covers

The back rests are a different colour to the seat base and the hood.

Probably recovered the backrests at the same time they removed the air pump and added the rubber between the radiator and the inner guard.

I wonder if the screw that is loose in the dash has something to do with the low odometer?

The page starts by saying "24224kms showing", then moves on to use more definitive language = "having just 2 owners and also original 24,224 kms". One wonders if it has covered more than 24224 kms, but appears to be a very nice specimen.
