Are they a complete pain in the ass? Do they leak no matter what you do? Looking at a mini that has one fitted (assuming from the factory, but don't really know). Anyone have experience with these?

Do you mean a Webasto vinyl sunroof? They can be problematic and cars that have any sunroof seem to end up with rust faster! I would think twice before chopping a hole!

I think it's a Webasto Tudor roof, it's already in the car I'm thinking about purchasing, here's a pic of it:

Ive known a couple of people with them that are quite happy. Webasto was/is a good brand. If its been well installed and in reasonable condition should be ok. Only thing is some I have seen have a small weather deflector at the leading edge. Give it a gentle test with a hose if you are concerned before you buy I guess.
