I just bought myself a set of these, arrived today.

Anyone else used them?? they seem like an excellent idea? The build quality is pretty good, very sturdy and heavy. I thought they might be cheap and gimmicky but it seems they may actually be useful?

There are charts available for non oe tires. good luck!

Looking at the pic of your car you put up i would say you want 32psi in the front, 30 in the back at least. I wouldn't suggest anything lower then 28psi and 36psi is probably the upper limit. Those are cold readings, so if you were to measure it after driving it will show higher.



As for those valve caps, i presume they have to push down the valve to operate? I don't really like that idea

Well this sticker was on my 73 clubby so if your tyres are the sizes mentioned it may be one of those , i havent bought new tyres for my mini yet ... a long way to go before they are on my shopping list.






And look like a cool idea Lillee perfect for picking up a slow leak. i also noticed there were ones that had a led light in them would look cool at night ........ 2 little 00 going down the road

I set mine to 32 front hot and 30 rear hot.

These are perfect because it tells me if they are under 30 which is lower than what it should be. Just a quick visual indicator more than anything.

Only critism is that they stick out a fair bit from the wheel so perhaps they may fly off on the freeway? Who knows, anyway we'll see.

As long as they only try while im moving , but yeah i guess it doesnt pay to draw to much attention " they might think bugger the leds lets take the whole wheel aswell "

There is this sort too http://www.tyrecheckers.com.au/ , they have a tamper proof application method and are for varied pressures, just apply it to a preset tyre and it monitors for that pressure.

Only problem is if you decide you want to run different pressures

Hmm good question can you set the pressure yourself somehow Lillee ?, or do you have to specify which ones you buy eg from Lillee's ebay link:Range PSI
26 / 28 / 30 / 32 / 34 / 36 ?

Or is it just a colour change when it drops below its lowest rated Psi 26 ?

For the ebay ones you specify which out of the range you want to suit your car.

For the link I sent you set your pressure , apply the cap and it sets itself to that pressure and then flashes red when it drops 4 psi.

Ahh so if you say currently have 30 psi and put the tyrecheckers one on it sets itself to 30psi and if it drops 4 psi the indicator will change ....... sounds very good to me .

They come in any pressure you want! Cool hey?

So mine are rated 30, you can get 35, 40 etc
