If it is indeed the matching number then it would be cheap as chips!! (I'd also go buy the lotto too if this were the case)

No point buying the lotto, you would have used all your luck up :D

It's interesting that everyone s saying this block is not a good buy! I am not seeing the for sale section full of $400 Cooper S blocks. I think if I had a Cooper S with an 1100S block, I would be keen to find a genuine S block even at a high price.

P.s it's not mine!

Hmmm.. so I wonder what a Mk2S block (1310) with original caps would be worth... :?:

It has a number. You can steal a block with caps but the number is the bit that is going to cost you money.

Cooper S $800 to $1000 caps

This is for blocks that have not been bored or decked much!

I have some doors that have been slamming shut when the wind blows. Has anybody got a Mk 2 Cooper "S" block that they no longer want. Its only a door stop ,so caps not necessarily required, but, if you want to include those its OK.

Me too! I am happy to pay $50!

I know this block has no caps, however there are no other Cooper S blocks for sale on Ebay or anywhere else I have seen (Feel free to correct me!). Therefore, it is a case of supply and demand.

While this is true there doesn't appear to be too many people looking for them either. Take a look at the wanted section, anyone looking for Cooper S blocks in there :?:

There are blocks out there, for instance I have a Mk2 block (with caps) but needing an area repaired that I would consider selling but haven't advertised it as I am happy for it to stay where it is as well.
