Hi
Is an oil cooler for the Australian Clubman GT the same as a cooper s and did they come from the UK or made in the local market as part of the Australian build rule?
I have a part number :ARO9809.
Are they the same as UK Mk 1 / Mk 2?

My GT had a 13 row Mocal cooler made in UK.
Not sure if that was original (or should have been a 9? row) but the coolers on Cooper S and Oz GT were definitely UK made.

I will try and go and check mine later today and get back to you this evening.

I have one removed from a car which will be easier to check than the one on my car :D .

The GT Clubman and the Cooper S Oil Cooler are the same, 13 row
The part Number they were sold as ARA221, ARO numbers are Serck part numbers
who were the original supplier of the oil cooler
Mocal oil cooler kits in the early days I am fairly sure were Serck oil coolers
Later on they had there own oil cooler,

Oil coolers are same between S and Gt I think but aren't the Gt hoses longer for Clubman front?

Clubman hoses are cloth covered aeroquip hoses, with a silver tag around them with the part number on it.

Pick up a new Serck oil cooler and remove the top mounting tags and they're almost perfectly identical to the originals (aesthetically anyway). There's a slight difference in the way the sheet metal is pressed.
