silver Alloy colour

Some were cast though, and as far I believe these usually went rusty like the clutch slave cylinder.

If it were me I would blast it then stick some clear on them so they didnt go rusty.

Im not sure when cast ones came in and exited?

Talked to Vic, and found out that in 74 they were Gold Zinc plated :-)

Si I rubbed them back on a wire brush, and painted them last night.. See ausmini FB page for pic... lol

Hmmm... ok I have never seen them gold.... Which Vic is this?

I still put money on the cast ones being not coated in anything,

At mini performance in Sydney. He seems to have lots of nos stuff I pulled mine out, there seems to have been some gold stuff on mine.. inc the little spacers

They May be Recon units, I must say I have not seen These plated from the factory,
that is If we are talking about the master cylinder that is fitted with the plastic containers
