hi everyone

my mini is running excellent except for the wiper arm keeps coming off when its raining . Is this and issue with spring tension or will it be to much wear in the arm. the arm was on the drivers side, and fell off so i swaped it to the passenger side and it still fell off. any advice or tips would be appreciated.

dan

Sounds like the spline is worn out , take the arm off and see how much spline is left inside , and also check the spline on the scuttle , where it attaches .

Looking inside the cup on the arm, what dose the retainer spring/clip look like. If it's too worn or damaged that could be your problem. Also what are the splines like?
Maybe remove the good arm and compare the two to see if one is worn, damaged or missing any parts.
