Mother in law. Doesn't beat a fridge though - good one!

I picked up a complete mini interior that had been sent by courier so all boxed up. Two front seats, rear seat, door cards and seat belts.

Gafmo and I put a full size fridge on his van's roof bars last weekend. I should have taken a pic...
We took a topload LG washing machine in the van too.

Would have to be the instructor that came with me on a Holden Advanced Driving course I did 'round Manfeild. Big bloke, didn't fit too well in the bucket seats I have. Took longer to get him out than to get him in.

He's usually found racing in a Torana rather than passenger in a mini.

Huh.

full drum kit in cases with extra snare drum - and that's a 22" bass drum behind the drivers seat, in a 24" case too!

Image

I used to be able to also get a 15" bass box in there too before I had the proper drum cases and even once slept in my other old Mini with the drums and bass rig after a gig in Glebe in the late 80's!!

a fond memory was of Matt Lukin from Seattle grungers Mudhoney (he stands 6' 6 tall and had never seen a Mini before) absolutely gobsmacked watching me load up the Mini with my drums once after a gig with them, and then getting the bass box in there too!

The good guy laughed when i said id put the 240litre fridge in there.I asked him if it fitted could i fill the rest with HDTVs but he declined
there was plenty of width and height but it could only just squeeze past the drivers seat and had the passengers seat tilted forward.
awesome job of getting that drum kit in.
Babes we should get some of your girls over and see how many you can squeeze in with me 8)

Here's some pics of my old mini when I moved out of home years ago to go to uni.

Filled the inside of the car and inside the bookshelf on the roof with all my gear. Had to wind up the high lo's so the rear wheels didn't rip the flares off on bumps

I've fitted a dishwasher in a Mini Van once. The seller (Good Guys I think) didn't believe it would fit either.

Another time removed the passenger seat and shoved two single mattresses down the passenger side. They reached from the rear doors to the windscreen and dash. I would not recommend that as it made vision to my left non-existent at intersections.

Cheers,

I remember driving home along the gateway one morning and seeing a BRG mini with a surfboard wedged from one corner to the other.
