decibels for a road vehicle in vic is no greater than 98, which can include car stereo noise too. Take spare wheel out of a car b4 roadworthy check it is not necessary to have one in victoria. want to know any more rulings let me know, used to work in road safety at vic roads! dealt with roadworthys etc :D

Hahah My brother got pulled over cos when he saw a speed camera he jammed on the brakes cos he was going way too fast, nearly locked it up...but he didnt get caught speeding.

....Anyway the cop pulled him over and he got told that his rego was out of date. he never worried for that stuff as our parents worry about all that stuff, so it wasnt even his fault. SOooo he had to call up my dad and the cop wouldnt let him go for ages and stuff, but he only got a fine and it was al' good in the end,

I still pay out my brother about it though...cos he was right at the end of the freeway at peek traffic hour for ages with a cop with his flashing lights there for ages.

Thats the most embarrasing.
But its funny...
Like when i got pulled over by undercoveries.

Far out

Nah cops are all good... infact i love challenging them.
They will generally always give a P plater a fine- they find something.

Hey its their job:

**** REVENUE RAISERS

Ohh some time... in Feb i think.
Driving along HBR (Henley Beach Road).
Did the SMALLEST of ALL SMALL little chirpies on the white line @ traffic lights.
It was at the intersection of HBR and Tapleys Hill Rd - BP on left, Hungrys on right - travelling towards the city.
Yeah the cop was going the other way, and was in the slip lane to turn right onto Tapleys Hill road... was in an undercover car.
I was oblivious to it, but Chris (Californian Moker) and John (little green mini) said they knew.
So i drive for about 8 minutes not even thinking about it - they didnt say anything... and what comes **** RACING up behind me? Some COCK HEAD in a burgundy VY commodore.
I think its a mad man and try to change lanes, and even possibly nip down a side street when they put their flashing lights on (flip flop headlights and strobes @ top of windscreen).
Thats when i say... "for **** sake".

So yeah...
They fined me 107 dollars for making "Unnecessary Noise" and thats it.
**** arsewipe.
LOL
The lady cop wanted to defect my car... i could tell.
She kept snooping- arf i thought i would have had to take it to regency.
This was when the JUN was on... and if they checked ride height - with John in teh back it would be about 1.5 inches off the ground..

 No crap.

But oh well.

Live and learn.

It was good fun none the less.

They hassled me about where i was going.
They didnt believe me that we were going to town to have dinner - this was at about 730pm.
She goes "well its a bit late for dinner, what were you doing before"
And i told her "you don't need to worry about that"
thats when she got pissed off, while the male tossifer was writing out the fine.

Reminds me of when i pulled over at 12:30am in Manuka (Canberra trendy place) in my falcon after i'd just dropped of a car load od designated party people. Aparrently i was driving the exact same car that they were looking for (red falcon hmm only millions of them  ) and i'd just let it rip in 1st to 60km/h  (which is about 5500rpm) then straight to 4th and stayed at 60 the cop van does a dangerous (across other cars :? ) and illegal u turn (for u n me :? ) and comes screaming (80+) up to my car and only when i could nearly pat him on the head did they put the lights on.
So i pull over at the nearest safe spot which was the next side street. The copper that got out was a 5ft0" proby constable (read new and invincible) and i get out of my car all barefoot 6ft1" of me.
The first thing the copper says is get back in your car, no please or can you. I say no I don't need some snot nose constable trying to look down their nose at me i'm fine where i am thanks  (i was leaning on the rear of my car). I got the shits with the lights in my eyes so went and leant against the bullbar on the cop car so he was looking into them, but of couse he told me to get off, which i did but i only stood up.
He then tells me that they pulled me over cause they were looking for red falcons, to which i replied thats kinda like looking for a car in canberra with rego thats starts with y or in nsw now cause they have plates starting with y as well now. Anyway while i'm winding up this copper his partner is sitting in the car doing the rego check thing. the copper in the car sticks his head out the window and tells shorty to get my licence, which is where it got interesting he asked me if the car was mine, of course i rely i'm not as stupid as you look. then the proby started to verbally abuse me by swearing and carrying on like a spoiled brat not getting his way calling me this that and some other words that would have a sailor blush. I just stood there smiling at him. You could just tell he was itching for a fight but i wasn't going to give him anything to use as an excuse to start one.
I went back to my car to get a pen and paper to write down his badge number to complain to his superiors about his verbal assault on my person i couldn't find a pen. So silly me asks him for a pen, but of course he says no so i ask his partner in the car, no again, fine i'lll give you the paper and you write them down, no he replys and throws my licence out the window and says "you are free to go sir". "of course i'm free to go the only thing i've done wrong tonight was be designated driver so i could be hassled by arsehole cops like that f*&#khead over there. I got in my car and scratched the rego of the cop car onto the paper i had, performed a u-turn got to the street that i was originally on and nailed the car to 60km/h again as a bait to see if they wanted another piece of me which they didn't.

Long winded i know but funny as hell for me
