Hi, I just arrived home last night from the Gold coast, after a 12 day holiday where we had a great time, I was surprised to see only 2 old mini's (a dark green clubman in good condition at Coolangatta and a very nice yellow mini s in Surfers, with a nice young lady getting into it). I also seen a lot of new mini's and 1 black Rover mini driving into Movieworld, do people hide their mini's away in Queensland ?, Tony :D

the Minis from Brisbane don't make it to the Gold Coast - overheat on the highway before they get there!

It wouldn't surprise me if the Gold Coast had lowish numbers of minis. All that humid salty air and all.

But that can work in your favour. I know my mini used to attract a bit of attention when it was on the road, even though it was a shitbox. Everyone has seen rice before.

Best chance of seeing a mini on the goldy would probably be a saturday night @ broadwater car park. Mostly ricers but whenever I go i've seen a couple of minis there.

Also i've driven our mini from the sunshine coast all the way to the gold coast and it hasnt over heated (yet  ).
