How much is this worth... never onces been run since machined and put back together... i.e brand new

1320cc
mk2 cooper s head (original)
mk2 cooper s cam (original)
hypolite pistons (dunno how to spell it)
Dellorto 40dhla on lynx manifold
with all the extras like water pump and so on...
smooth gear box. rod change
umm all just been machined and put back together and spray the original green
(the 1320 block is the one that has set the mini lap record at eastern creek)
all work been done by Ben Cooper the mini racer

Well, i'll pay $150 for it, cos thats all I got, but it's probably worth around $5000 but im no mini expert. Sounds like a awesome engine though.

my inlaws paid $1000 for an 1100. Fully rebuilt and started once. GR Cooper S head converted to unleaded, twin SU's, big cam, remote box, rad, alt, all reco or new....etc etc

I know it's not a 1275, but it give some sort of idea on what prices people are paying.

so,,,i`m assuming that the 1320cc is meant to be a 1330cc??? or a 1310cc???

& it`s worth whatever someone will pay for it really,

it`s quite often a case where it costs a hell of a lot more to re-build/machine/parts/labour etc that what he/she gets for it.

But in saying all that,,,that particular build would probly cost somewhere around the $5000 mark from me

I'd pay about somewhere around $3000 for it. The fact that it's an S head means nothing to me... I have a Metro 1300 head with S inlet and exhaust, same sh*t different badge... The only reason i'd be interested in a genuine S head is that it's bolted to a genuine S block and genuine S gearbox. This engine has none of the above...

S cam, so what? ~$100 for an RE13 cam sounds alot better to me

Hepolite pistons, I have 7 right here

Rod change box... :(

Now if it were a S block with S ratio Remote Box too... then I'd pay upwards of $5000 and lots of original S owners will be taking an interest which means even more money on top of that easy.

There's not enough info given to make a serious judgement on price. How much head work done? what type of valve train gear it's got? type of rods? crank? recond box or bolt on and pray? S ratios or Clubman ratios? balanced? crack tested components? How long is a piece of string?

But that's just me... 8)

Don't forget, upgrade from 998 or 1100 to 1275 means $1500 brakes too

How Long is a china man as well

:-)

$3000 sounds quite reasonable, but as 68 deluxe suggests,,,you are not quite sure of it`s integrity really, get a full specs list & go from there with pricing
