I was a member of a Sydney based car club that used to hold motokhanas at Leppington and Waterfall. When we lost the use of them we held events at Richmond, Appin and one at Colo. We found that people would not travel to the events at Appin or Colo because they were too far away. :?
It would be nice for someone to set up a good place to thrash a car on dirt but I would not like to try to make it pay its way.

Don't mean to rain on the parade as I've thought about this kind of thing too, but 2 words come to mind: "Public Liability"

if someone binned their car bad enough to cause serious injury, you'd be in serious poo. Just something to think about.

Also I'm not sure how that works with the whole CAMS thing either??

I think you could expect that no-one on here is going to sue you if they damage their car. i dont even know you but i wouldnt, based on the whole ausmini thing (politics...) and plus, we all know that if you are going to race your car you will eventually have a bingle or f**k it up somehow anyway, and if you chose to take that risk its your own fault i say.

serious injury or death on the other hand...

but it would be fun

Dylan: that puts you in the non-ltigious club :)

Some people are complete wankers, who just see the law as another way to get rich.
I fell over a step on your house, I want money.
I split coffee on my lap, It's mcdonalds fault for serving coffee, not mine for drinking it while driving.

Morons. :)
