On that one, mine is identical in colours to yours, but comes with a black interior. Have you seen this often before?

Have never seen a black interior in a 997 Cooper. I would have been over every Cooper as it left the showroom back in the day and never saw a black one then either.

My English Grey/Cherry Red came with the original seats (seat bracket rivetted on and not adjustment holes in the bracket) and interior which was red.

I could be wrong but only seem to remember green. blue. red interiors. This covers the car colour combinations mentioned earlier. Black Coopers had red interior. Cant remember what white ones had, possibly red too!

First Mini I ever drove was an English Grey/Cherry Red 997 Cooper. I pestered the owner so much he gave in and let me drive it a little bit. I was about 16. The passion hasn't waned!!!!

Thanks willy, the photo below is of a OEW and Cherry Red Cooper 997 owned by a certain Mr Bruce McClaren. It is in an accompanying article described as being trimmed in black inside. I think maybe it can be made out in the image. I'm not saying my car is this one, I have zero idea of that, but is it possible that it might have been an early option?
