so yeah they have a value for street use for sure... & are pretty well priced really compared to the cost & time & energy & & & attempting to fully overhaul a std diff,,, even trying to find a good condition std carrier is hard these days so , i think the 4-pin is good value
if you were going to do any track days then i`d suggest a Quaiffe diff
All too true Matt, but they do have a weakness. The planet gears in these don't have a full spot face to seat against (they are churned out on CNC

) so they only have 2 lines of contact and the pressure on the gears is at 90 degrees to that contact. It seems they are made to test the planet gears in a way for which they were not designed to work! I've seen these diffs split planet gears no problem.
