My mini was originally my grandmothers, she bought it new in 69 from Lancaster in Chatswood. She passed on in 86, then my dad took the car & fixed it up & modified it etc, he then gave it to me for my 21st - back in 99. I then went on & used it, then garaged it for 13 years & only recently got it back on the road.

Was helping the old man move house the other day & we came across the original set of keys & key ring for the car! Chuffed!

Great little piece of history there.
Don't lose them again.

Good old days when you got at least something for your delivery fee.

Stuff all these days from your local Stealership.

Man all I ever found of value was some rusty fuses and 20c coin :(

I'd frame that in felt backing if I were you!

Brilliant find! I wish I had a story like that, but alas no. It would be interesting to see if you can get it restored. I bet the family must be happy with your find! :D

I love these little key rings, i always though it would be fun to collect them. That's a lovely one you have there.

I've got a Ford Zephyr one from my grandad and a Datsun one from mum.

I been thinking about using these guys for a fob I have. Don't know anything about them though.

That Lancaster Fob is nice, even the leather is blue.

On the other hand, most Trophy places could probably fix up the badge part like new and there are plenty of cheap fobs around that your Grandma could sew the badge onto
