hey im Ryan,

currently mini-less but soon il get my hands on a project to get my hands in, mostly joined to forum to lurk around & absorb the vast knowledge thats on the forums to help/ get ideas for my build.

some of you may know my uncle here in SA or if you went to HAY would of seen his green Twini so i have some help for spit balling idea's if i get stuck.

so my project idea, im thinking of going down the 16v path using a mazda 323 turbo engine, so finding a rolling shell without rust & preferable a club man is my goal.

No pics just yet but I've just picked up a nugget gold '78 1275 LS. She's in need of some love, but on the I'm whole super happy!

Hi all,

I'm new here. In my late 20's and residing just a stones throw north of Brisbane.

Currently garaged and restoring a mini that has currently being off the road for the last 17/18ish years. It was my fathers before me and he had it last registered in NSW Sep'95.

My mini is a '63 plate morris 850 or Cooper (/S), who knows. But many differences to what it would of from birth. It is more like a '65/'66 Cooper S. Has a 1275, disc brakes, twin tanks and a Wet ride.

It will remain fairly standard yet built to suit me. I know its not all original so I don't feel bad making minor adjustments here and there.

Catch you all around the forum. Hope to soak up some knowledge and give some where I can.

I will start a gallery of all my parts when I get a chance. I'm a little slow with the workings of the internet but always manage to work things out!

evening all, longish time? shortish time? owner of a 76 clubman in rud wuns go phaster red. had it since 01, i'm the 2nd owner, the 1st was my grandmother. it's fairly low mileage, it only has 32,000km on it.




Couple of problems at the moment, the first being i'm now living in melbourne and it's still in rockhampton and the second, as it's getting a bit sad and needs some tlc, is whether i keep it the stock red or something a little more tricky, and being a spray painter by trade, colour choice can be difficult.

Even if i could get it down here, i've got nowhere to park it/rebuild it, the garage is full of bikes. i'm planning on a bare shell build, fix the usual little patches of rust in the usual areas etc.

about me, im 33, a spray painting ranga, currently living in southeast melbourne and im far better known for galloping all over australia on murdercycles.
