We had every model mini here in NZ so how bigs your cheque book.

If you are used to OZ spec minis they are quite different in Trim and paint work.

Join a local Mini club, would be your best bet.

Trademe.co.nz is also a good site to search

What city are you coming to

NZ would be a great place to buy a Mini, so many interesting choices, and the prices are mostly really good. Not many Mokes though.

When I was there last year I found an lovely Wolseley Hornet parked in the street with a sign saying For Sale for 4,000 of those cute little NZ dollars.

Most of those questions rely on what area will you be in and what your budget will be.

The biggest difference you'll find over here when you get off the plane is the refreshing lack of poisonous, bitie, spitty, slithery, wriggly, sharp and just generally unfriendly wildlife trying to kill you :D

Ah, yes but you do have Oz possums to cuddle us, so we'll feel at home. 8)

haha i'll keep that in mind, thanks. I should be on the north island, near wanganui/palmerston north. In terms of spending, i was looking around the 6k nzd mark... (does this seem reasonable?) I saw a couple on trade me that looked pretty nice. I'm surprised with the breadth of selection to be honest!
