Hi all,

Not sure if I'm missing something obvious here, but I've been trying to remove these two pieces from the rear subframe with no luck. This picture shows the offender (The round thing with 2 holes that seems to have a bolt that goes all the way through (shown in picture 2) :

I've tried hitting the end of the bolt shown in picture 2 to knock the thing out, but it won't budge. I can't turn the round thing to unscrew it either. Is there a tool that locks into the two holes?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,
LG

multi grips on the round part.

Sounds like it might be seized. give it a squirt with wd40 or similar, then try to turn it with the multi grips. that should loosen it and let you remove it.

Thanks JAM - so it is meant to unscrew then? Or is the twist you recommend just to loosen?

the nut is off in that pic.

i am suggesting you try to turn it, to loosen it. It doesn't unscrew once the nut is off, it slides out.

Jeez Anton your eyesight is better than mine, pic is too dark to see if nut is there or not!
Anyhow the bolt is pretty small diameter shank, check it's not bent when it's out.

To confirm, the visible bolt is nutless.
