So whilst checking bearing clearances on my last conrod the nut on the big end bolt decides that it's going to spin whilst trying to unbolt it. Yes it's the correct bolt and nut. Any tips on removing it. I'm about to try heating it up etc.

If one conrod nut is dodgy it might be time to replace them all. They make an awful mess if they let go...
Check out all the threads on the bolts with a magnifying glass, too.
Note there are better Quality nuts & bolts than originals available, ARP are the go. :wink:

Yeah i agree drmini. Once that one stripped i started doubting all of them. New set of ARP bolts and nuts on there way. :D
