Can't tell. They're all renderings by someone who's still learning the craft.

The new Cherry ones have a longer nose and are slightly wider than the earlier Mokes.

Paul has permission under the limited import scheme to bring 5 000 in to Oz, and under that scheme no crash testing etc is required only limited ADR compliance ;)

Dr Mini, you thinking of buying one?

Maybe they're taking advantage of a loophole for ICVs in that though the vehicle may be new now, its based on an old design (so a replica) which helps bypass a few laws.

Other cars that use this as an example are replicas GT40s, Cobras and Caterham kits.

The red tape isn't that simple of course - but there are ways to bend the rules.

They posted up a pic of a 16 valve four cylinder engine this morning. That could be interesting.

It appears to be the same engine as in the Chery QQ. The QQ is the one that looks suspiciously like a Daewoo Matiz.

Image

Wikipedia suggests that its the following engine:
1.1 L SQR472F DOHC 16V I4 — 50 kW (67 hp) at 6,000 rpm, 90 N·m (66 lb·ft) at 3,500 rpm

Depending on how heavy the new Choke is, it might get along OK.

That's a very narrow cover for a twin cam :?

Would be very easy to pop a turbo & intercooler on the front of that.
If only running a few PSI of boost the stock fuel injection should manage it.

Lots of cars are like that now. appears to be a similar design to the suzuki m13a / m15a engine series. They're twin cams but quite skinny too.
