Hey guys

Need to replace my fuel pump - twin HS4's please a reasonably hot engine and I may head to a weber 45 in the future.

I am looking at high flow pumps but didn't know if it would cause issues with the HS4's ??

What do you guys suggest as a fuel pump.

If you are after electric. facet cube is fine. make sure whichever has a prefilter inline.

The pressure is 3-3.5 tops -whether SU or Weber. I don't run a weber but run twin HS4s and facet + standard quarter inch fuel hose delivers more than enough.

What happens if your fuel pressure is too high? I think my electric fuel pump from the previous owner is doing something like low 5s. The float and everything seems to be working alright when I switch it off and pull the assembly apart.

If it doesn't flood, it is fine...
Some folks add a regulator to a higher pressure pump but some (Pur******) regs are unreliable and poorly calibrated.

I have run the square Facet/Purolator/TRW/insert name here/ pumps on both SUs and Dellortos with no regulator, and no problems.
Mount them on rubber and you can't hear them with the engine running.
