I have a Rover? or UK Mini wiper motor here, it only has 3 wires- red, yellow and blue. It is marked RH park.
I have tested it and it spins, can anyone tell me if this one is single speed, or 2 speed? Also, which wire goes where?

Wiring diagrams don't seem to help, I have looked at early UK Mini, 1988 on UK, and MPI diagrams, all these motors have more wires and different colours. I am confused....:?

Thanks for that, but the late Rover motors shown on there have too many terminals.. this only has 3.

Doc,

I don't have any parts books with that number, but a Google search on 54072108 and Lucas gives a few hits, including this forum that seems to have references to the wiring diagram.

On closer inspection it looks like perhaps this motor has lost its park switch. There is a rectangular hole on the back with nothing in it.
That would account for it only having 3 wires...

I have had it running off a 12V charger, but the 2 circuits both seem to give the same speed. :?
I have offered it free to a Rover owner on here for spare parts.
I just need the shelf space.
