I have come across a cam that i thought would be suitable for my rebuild (1275cc that will be supercharged), can anyone provide some feedback on the specs and let me know if it is worth looking at.

Specs are as follows;

Crow cam grind (740 l/c 108 ) on to a 1/2" lobe, spider drive, BMC 'A' Series camshaft. (Never been used since it has been ground)

Specs read inlet duration as 280 and exhaust as 287 degrees with 108 degrees lobe centres. (.266" lift)

Advice please

I just checked Crow's website, found BMC still on there but there's nothing listed.
So, that's not very helpful... ah, the wonders of modern computer technology. How easy it is to bin stuff that's `obsolete'.:roll:

Sure buy if it's cheap. Duration is similar to a Kent 286.
Valve lift is pretty low though, I'd stick 1.5 rockers on it.
:wink:

You are probably better off getting a standard one reground by Russell Engineering or Wade Cams or Tighe Cams, then you know what you are buying. :wink:
