Has anybody run a direct flexible line from the master cylinder to the slave instead of the 2 piece system that is standard .

Well I was at a mates place to change the clutch arm etc as I thought that was the problem but it turned out to be the slave cylinder , I had taken a spare everything with me but the slave cylinder was new about 20 yrs ago and so was it was stuck , my mate had a falcon one there as a spare so we fitted that and all was well with the world. Is the flexible hose off something in particular or did you have it made ?
