Hi,

I got given a 1275 (1100s) block that has been over bored to 72.8mm.

Other than a boat anchor... what can I do with it??

? Bigger bore??
? Sleeve it??
???
Or is it really throw away....

Thanks
Minimad

it's fine - 72.8mm is an odd size, but is .008" under 73mm which is a common size, making a 1360

oops, hang on....

it's a boat anchor, give me a few beers and I'll take it away for you ;)

You can go to 73.5mm (1380cc), [then 74mm (1400) if the block was offset bored].

Don't toss it yet...

Do you have anything to go with it other than the block?
I'm assuming you have other parts to build it up..

If not sell it.
