So after my carpet set arrived today from minisport before I got hone and the wife rang and gave me an absolute bollocking for spending more money on the mini it got me thinking. .... does your wife/partner know how much you spend on your mini?

Haha, I was discussing this with a mate the other day.
I had a big box arrive at home the other day (450x450x300mm approx).
Postie left it under the door mat and left the card in the letter box. Wife got home and couldn't open the door as the box was in the way (with the door mat on top?). Card was in the letterbox (like it wasn't obvious).

As you, I received a bollocking also. This taught me a lesson.......send every thing to the office!!!

I get everything sent to my office too. Much easier. :)

But my wife does not mind too much anyway. She cares more about the time I spend on the cars (not with the kids) than the money.

I think I've almost worn mine down to the point where it doesn't matter what I buy for the money anymore... Having said that, I don't know that I can be as liberal as I'd like in the next few months..

As for getting things sent to the office, yes I do..... does she work for the same mob, yes she does.... :?

Ha Ha, I could have a fleet of cars in the shed and 10 deliveries a day...... as long as none of it incroches into the house and the eftpos card still works I'm in the good books.

Someone's signature here sums it up:

"My greatest fear in life is when I die my wife will sell my mini and tools for what I said I paid for them"

/\ /\ /\ /\ you got to that before I could...

It all comes down to what you tell them you want them to THINK you are spending.... not what you are actually spending...

Although my greatest defence is saying "well I could be into golf.... golf is a much more expensive habit"

You can replace golf with

Gambling
Drugs
Drinking
Going out with the boys
Bigger more expensive cars
...
