They have some rust protection metal paint for $7.99 for a litre in white green silver black they say its made in germany and paints over old paint
I might get a few cans of black and paint under me guards and the boot floor worth a try at that price

That paint is good stuff, I used it on a subby 9 months ago and put it in the weather, there's no rust anywhere yet and it's still shiny.
It brushes on and levels out like POR15 does... 8)

Doc do you have to thin it out ? or use as is ?

Id say thin it out if spraying and straight out of can if brushing it on like i will do

I brushed it, straight from the can. yes you would need to thin it if spraying. The can says "thin if needed with white spirit (mineral turps)"

It is enamel, would be fine to use on an engine, but not on the zorst.

Didnt notice a best before date on mine " didnt look for one though " i got the opposite of yours beam 4 silver " looks more like grey primer in colour " and 2 black " very black " .

Dont know havent opened a can just went down at 830 got it then come back and finished cleaning up the mini for a car show tomorrow im going to
