1990 Rover Cooper with hif44 carb. Had this car for nine years so I should know this. BUT I DON'T!
Putting it back together and there's two tubes. One comes out from the bottom of the filter donut housing and the other from a circle thingy on the top on the right side of the intake pipe. One of these goes to a little pipe on the top next to the carburetor. But I don't know which one or where the other one goes. Can't find my Haynes manual!
Any thoughts?
Car runs fine regardless and I'm pretty sure it's spent long periods not hooked up in the past.

thats for the warm air thing. inside the filter is a thermac switch, if the air is to cold it closes and the vacuum inside the manifold will move a lever that moves a disc that will block the cold air entering the filter housing and pull warm air from around the exhaust manifold
