Hi all just curious for some info on my motor if anyone can help.

The engine number is 12YE/A/H2001

Looking to rebuild it soon and would like to start buying parts before pulling out.

Cheers

I realise its a 1275 but it seems that there is a few variants

Ah cool dr. I hope the mod was done because its on a manual box.
So I guess its just an ordinary run of the mill 1275 then

Provided the oilways mod was done yes it's pretty much now just an 1100S manual block.

So my motor has a dipstick hole and the oil filter mounted to the block. Is it possible the oilway conversion didnt get dobe. Im worried now. Engine has great oil pressure.

If it has any oil pressure the mod got done.. because without it there is no oilway from the pump to the oil pipe that goes to the filter...
See my thread on p2 of the mods forum. It used to be a sticky on p1 but the glue has gone..
