It's true, Indigo Blue really is one of the nicest colours. Pretty sure this one is Indigo Blue. This ones a 68.

Not uncommon to have flares fitted on a Mk1, even with the standard wheels there was the risk of being pinged by the cops for tyres beyond guards without them.

Dad says the police mini's are the ultimate mini to have, dads friends dad was a policeman and had one of those mini's and he hated trucks and he found a few on the highway one time and the trucks boxed him in and got closer and closer then he just pulled out and rolled the mini.
And that is the only person he knew that rolled a mini.

And then there are some of us who bought an S because it was cheaper than a second hand Datsun 1200.... and the only people that drove standard Minis were those driving their Mum or Dad's car ..or lacked imagination..

It is a great colour, many of the colours of the time were murky greens, pastels etc... Indigo is lighter than marine blue and it just looks great in the sun!

Haha that was back in the day and he bought it off his mate.
