Hey all, I've been trying to bleed the brake son my mini and they seem to be misbehaving. I can bleed the fronts up fine just not getting buger all to the rears.
( I know wrong way around just wanted to try get pressure in the system)

I have fluid to the rear bias valve (lots) just only getting a dribble either side .
It's drums all round if that makes any difference.

Is it common that the valve stuffs up? Is this a part I can rebuild or have to replace?

Let me know your thoughts ?

You are locking up the rear pressure limiting valve if you stand on the pedal then open the bleed nipple.
Open the nipple first, then slowly push the pedal down. Close nipple then let pedal up. Repeat...

vacuum bleed or gravity bleed works great.

I'm an advocate of the 1 man bleed system.

Just get the wife to press the pedal..

Mine did the same, but it was because the rubber flexi hoses were blocked and one had a leak. You could move backward from the rear valve to the metal pipes, to the rubber flexi, next metal pipe and to the cylinders to make sure the fluid is moving through fine..
