So how long has it been since Elmo's resto has had ANYTHING
to report on! Well not only is there progress, but TWO bits of progress

First - Her boot lid is shiny red and has 6 layers of lovely fresh paint and
looks brillitant!

Second - (AND MOST EXCITITNG) My motor is 90% complete at Russell Engineering
he just needs a few more bits off me and its off to the dyno :D :D :D

So things are moving (finally) and there may be another change to my garage
soonish.....but thats a little secret for now [b[/b]

Funny that I just asked him that today gaf. he reckons
about 80ish bhp and about 80 foot pound (or however its expressed)
in torque. so should be a nice all round engine me thinks!

And the little extra thing that i cant tell you will be subject to something
else that will lead to something else that will hopefully culminate into the
something that i cant tell anyone about or i may just jinx the whole something

Meanwhile, Man Vivian is going SOOOO well atm, she just clicked and
is going crazy! (as in crazy good!!) makes me not want to do the somthing
that i was maybe goignto be something....

if you havnt worked out the something....Im possibly selling Vivian to fund
the fixing of Lizzie! I have too many minis atm and Lizzie need to be done

Well, went down to Russell Engineering today after getting the call to say
my engine was on the Dyno.....WOW
86 hp and 86 foot pound of torque at 6000rpm!!!!!!!

How good is that!!!! Even Graham Russell was amazed due to the relativley minor mods
to the motor!! he was as happy as me with it!!!!

I was always going to give him a plug on here for his bus, but thought i should
wait to see the results before i say anything.

BUT seriously (i hope he wants business hehe) not only a great bloke to deal with, but builds a top motor. Thanks mate if you read this!!

Looksd like ELmo will be flying in no time...here comes gannons!!
